Advanced or Advanced Plus

The PADI Advanced Courses place an emphasis on learning during actual open water dives, and each dive is credited toward a corresponding Specialty Diver program. PADI Specialty Diver programs include:

Cavern Diver Search and Recovery Deep Diver Enriched Air/Nitrox Night Diver Equipment Specialist Altitude Diver U/W Hunter Boat Diver

Ice Diver Drift Diver U/W Photographer Dry Suit Diver U/W Navigator Multilevel Diver Wreck Diver Underwater Naturalist Research Diver

The PADI Advanced Course has two core dives Deep and Underwater Navigation and three elective dives. The elective dives might include altitude, dry suit, multilevel, night, search and recovery and many more to choose from.

You might elect to take the Advanced Plus course. The Advanced Plus course requires nine dives. The same two core dives and also seven elective dives, which may include CPR and first aid training or PADI Medic First Aid and in-depth diving knowledge development.

Advanced

The SSI Advanced Open Water diver program will teach you to be proficient in four specialty areas of your choice. The intent is to develop enough knowledge, ability and confidence to make the specialty dives without an instructor.

The SSI Advanced Open Water course has the highest training standards in diving. To ensure you've got experience to go along with your training you are required to log a total of 24 dives to complete this program.

When you are ready to become an adavnced diver you might try the SSI way. Why dive with an instructor when you can dive with your chosen buddy?
